Our new favourite day is Friday the 13th, aka the sacred day when both Justin Bieber’s well anticipated album dropped, alongside One Direction’s 5th album. Both artists are in the opposite predicament, one coming back from a break and one going on a break. Fans are split, but we honestly can’t choose between the two.
However, the Biebs seems to be leading the US charts following the releases. According to the forecasters (no not like the weather) over at Billboard, Justin is expected to sell slightly more than the 1D boys. One Direction are expected to have about 475,000 copies sold total, compared to Justin’s presumed 525,000. Keep in mind these numbers are only estimated!
Don’t worry, Directioners, because 1D is still number 1 in the UK (and in our hearts). There’s still time to boost 1D sales in America, so get to iTunes or your local Target to grab a copy of ‘Made in the A.M.’
