Ooh, Justin Bieber’s spoken about sharing his album release date with One Direction.

It’s official, it’s confirmed, next month we will witness the biggest chart battle in eternity… well, of the year, anyway. Justin Bieber will release his album ‘Purpose’ on November 13, the same day that One Direction release their new album ‘Made In The A.M.’.

And now JB’s been chatting to The Edge about why he thinks 1D have stolen his release date.

“I’m not really going on the road much, but we’re talking about them right now so it gives them some promo, right? That’s probably why they did it. I think it was strategy on their part, ‘cos my release date was first. It’s whatever, it’s gonna be fun. I’m excited to see what happens.”

We’re excited too! Now to beg our parents for the money to buy us both.

Who’s album will you be buying on November 13? Justin Bieber or One Direction? Let us know on Twitter at @maximumpop.
