Jess Glynne scores number one album as Rachel Platten knocks her off top of singles chart.

Remember last week when we told you about Jess Glynne’s amazing album ‘I Cry When I Laugh’? Well there’s good news, because that amazing album is now number one on the Official Albums Chart. Who’s laughing now? (Let’s hope she’s not crying too much).

Jess said of her latest chart victory: “I can’t believe it. It’s just… wow! It genuinely hasn’t sunk in yet – it really hasn’t. It’s the most insane feeling to have your whole album accepted by the British public. To see how well it’s been received is possibly one of the most overwhelming feelings I’ve ever had. I’m so proud and excited about this album – I love every song on it. The fact that people are buying it and loving it as well is like some insane dream!”

In the singles chart, Jess’ single ‘Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself’ falls to number three this week as Rachel Platten‘s ‘Fight Song’ charts at number one and Felix Jaehn’s ‘Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better)’ reaches number two.

Calvin Harris & Disciples are at number four with ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ and Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor round off the top five with ‘Marvin Gaye’.
