Jennifer Lawrence now has a UK Top 40 single with ‘The Hanging Tree’.

Jennifer Lawrence What

Even J.Law herself can’t quite believe it. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 absolutely smashed the box office in the first weekend of release, it’s the highest grossing movie of 2014 and it’s been out all of 5 minutes (we exaggerated a bit there).

Jennifer busts out a rendition of ‘The Hanging Tree’ originally arranged by The Lumineers. Although she was terrified to sing and even admitted in one interview she thought they were going to dub someone else’s voice over the top of hers, we think it’s pretty soulful.

Jennifer was Number 27 in the Official Singles Chart at the midweek stage. Will it go higher and break into the Top 20? Let us know in the comments box below your predictions.
