Nineteen-year old Dublin sweetheart, Orla Gartland, is definitely one to watch. If she’s not already on your radar, switch it on right away and put a pin on it.
The young singer-songwriter is hardly a stranger to the stage, having already supported the likes of Bastille, John Newman, Kodaline, Hudson Taylor and Gabrielle Aplin.
She is taking it up a notch, though, by kicking off her very own 11-date tour of UK and Ireland in February. On it you might just catch a live rendition of her amazing new track ‘Lonely People’.
There are sweet vocals with pensive lyrics and bubbly melodies here – basically, everything we love in HAIM and Taylor Swift’s records. There is also a slightly 80s esque vibe about the track, which is all terribly on point considering what TayTay’s done with 1989.
