The makeup genius behind Adele’s winged eyeliner shows us EXACTLY how to do it


Adele’s eyeliner is a thing of art. Most of us just stop and stare at it like a painting in a museum, but thankfully, a loud bunch of fans have been begging for a tutorial. And now we’ve got one.

Professional makeup artist Lisa Eldridge says her YouTube videos’ comments were loaded with Adele fans asking how to recreate her signature winged eyeliner look, and Lisa decided that the best person for the job was the original artist himself, Michael Ashton. Thank god for inter-industry friendships.

In an extensive 22-minute video (BLESS YOU), Michael takes you step-by-step through recreating Adele’s entire makeup look. He uses a massive number of products, but the key things you’ll need to copy the intense eye makeup are:
