Holly Bourne has quickly become one of the most popular UKYA authors, and following the release of the second book in the ‘Spinster Club’ trilogy, ‘How Hard Can Love Be?’ at the beginning of February, there’s no sign of the Holly love stopping!
Bookstagramers have also fallen in love with the gorgeous cover! Here are some of our favourite pictures.
Just bought the sequel to the book I posted this morning! #howhardcanlovebe #hollybourne A photo posted by Bookstagram (@maelovesbooks) on

Today’s #BookishScene is Heart in relevance to this weeks Valentine’s Day. I, personally do not celebrate Valentine’s Day, I actually find it quite a pointless day. So instead I will be celebrating Galentines Day with my BBBB (@rosayyyoverstreet), and if I have to share a book then I’d have to share Holly Bourne’s newest novel How Hard Can Love Be? Holly Bourne is an advocate for feminism is YA, she brings friendships to life and even though there are love interests in this book it’s mainly about friendships. Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day, what books/authors do you love? — Remember to submit a link to your photos to @wordrevel’s blog at the bottom of her posts! A photo posted by GEORGIE. So happy!!!!! was having such a bad day today but look what arrived in the post that released today! I adore the cover. I absolutely fell in love with @hollybourneya and her “Am I normal yet” novel and can’t wait to read the second book in the trilogy. ——— “Am I Normal Yet?” Is about a girl called Evie who suffers with OCD and is trying to fit in at school. She then becomes friends with Amber and Lottie. They form a group called the ‘Spinster’ club and talk about the important topic of feminism. ——– “How Hard Can Love Be?” Is the 2nd book in the trilogy focusing on Amber and relationships. Again dealing with topics such as mental health and feminism. Holly Bourne accurately portrays both themes and personally, I believe these books should be read by everyone! I’m happy that books like this exist within the YA literature genre as not a lot of books cover both topics so wonderfully and accurately. Highly recommend! ——— #hollybourne #aminormalyet #howhardcanlovebe #feminism #mentalhealth #yalit #yalovin #epicreads #bookblog #bookhaul #booklion #booklove #bookshelf #bookstagram #bkfeature #vscobooks #igreads #instabook #instawrite #writerslife #bookworm #booknerd #cardiff #rainbowthon #readathon A photo posted by ??
