Alarm Pop 2: Heffron Drive feat. Kendall Schmidt ‘Parallel’ – Big Time Rush star strikes out on his own for massive new track!

It’s always a risk when a member of a huge band steps out into the spotlight by themselves, but when they’ve got a good song up their sleeves it’s a no brainer. HRRRNNK. ALARM POP.

Kendall Schmidt – one quarter of massive Nickelodeon band Big Time Rush – has just started his own record label called TOLBooth Records, and his first signing is his very own new pop rock band Heffron Drive and their new single ‘Parallel’.

The country tinged number starts off with some Mumford& Sons-esque guitar strumming and kick drums before exploding into a huge dubstep infused chorus, like a cross between Taylor Swift’s ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ and One Republic’s ‘Apologize’.

All in all it sounds like a promising debut and we cant wait to hear more new music from Heffron Drive and Kendall’s new label!
