Describe the plot of ‘The Haunting of Sunshine Girl’ in a tweet – less than 140 characters please!
Sunshine meets something not quite right for a normal mind… Can she get people to believe her, even when someone close to her is gone?

Have you watched or seen any of ‘The Haunting of Sunshine Girl’ series on YouTube?
I had sadly not seen any of the webseries but when I saw the synopsis, I was immediately drawn in… I’ve never liked horror or terrifying books/movies but I wanted to try a book. This was perfect, as the author somehow managed to weave the terrifying parts into the story carefully, ensuring that there was always a reason which I liked.

Without giving anything away, does the ending make you want to read the next in the series?
The ending was amazingly infuriating. I loved the last few pages, right up to the very last full stop and I’m only annoyed that I can’t get my hands on the second book now! I really enjoyed it and want to see more of Sunshine and her life…

What genre would you class the book as?
I would class this book as horror, particularly the first half… But then the story unfolds, and you see the supernatural side of things as well.

What was the best bit?
I can’t even say a best bit – all of it was too good… I loved Nolan so much and the ghostly activity was very well-written too!

Anything you didn’t like?

Would you recommend ‘The Haunting of Sunshine Girl’ series to your friends?
I have definitely recommended this book to all of my friends – even the ones who hate horror because I felt like almost everybody would like this book!

Do you think it would appeal to girls or boys more? Or both?
I think the book definitely applies to both genders equally, both girls and boys will love this book! Horror is a genre which can apply to both genders and I like that… I hate stereotyping books – they were written for everybody.

Anything else you’d like to tell us about the book?
Overall, this book was perfect and I really enjoyed it. Now, I’m eagerly anticipating the next book’s release…

Handling emotions and adult stuff like Jess Day and Nick Miller do.
I'm a bit awkward but really nice. I have a turtle called Turtle and I believe in the "You should take a nap every day".
