One Direction fans make ‘Girl Almighty’ empowerment song for Women’s Aid. What a bloody lovely idea!

As many of you lovely MP! readers will know, there is a very generous group of One Direction fans who give their hard-earned cash to charity through their passion for the band.

The fans – who go by the name of 1DFansGive – have over time donated to charities such as the British Asian Trust, the Rainbow International LBGT Activist Solidarity Fund, and The Eden Dora Trust to name just a few and now the fundraisers are sending their cash to Women’s Aid, and they’ve come up with a brilliant theme of female empowerment to do it.

That’s right, One Direction fans have decided that the lads’ ‘Girl Almighty’ track from latest studio album ‘Four’ should be made into a female empowerment track and will launch their Girl Almighty Charity Drive in conjunction with One Direction’s fifth anniversary.

Through the drive, fans are hoping to raise $5,000 (£3,295.44) for Women’s Aid – a charity that helps to support women and children suffering from domestic violence.

To help raise money for the Girl Almighty Charity Drive, you can donate to the 1DFansGive Just Giving page or buy some merch from the Girl Almighty charity store.

Some fans have even got Louis to write ‘Girl Almighty’ out just incase you fancied getting yourself a charity tattoo!

Well done 1D Fans, we salute you!
