Gemma Styles just launched her new site on #InternationalWomensDay. See what it’s about.

We adore Gemma Styles over here at Maximum Pop!. Her personal style, brilliant writing, family love, and adorable cat (seriously—follow her on Snapchat right now) make her a total inspiration. She’s also real enough to admit, “I’m not a business expert. I’m 25 and on my third career path to date.” And now she’s started a brand new venture with her mates.

La Femme Collective is a website where females can “[share] … lessons with a new community of ambitious young women.” As the Executive Editor, Gemma says, “We hope to give you somewhere to witness the real lives, experiences and lessons of women who are forging a path ahead, for us to follow. We want to humanise the mystical girl boss and hear not just about her success, but how she got there, the struggles she faced, and the lessons she has learned.”

This site promises to be a super inspiring place to go to at any age—a teenager trying to start a path, a young twenty-something on a path, or anyone at any age who might be a little lost on their path.

“As females of the species we tend to get a raw deal in the workplace; glass ceilings and pay discrepancies are well documented… and they’re there to be shattered,” Gemma believes. We’ve got our sledgehammer, Gem—let’s shatter!

You can go here right now and submit your own story to be featured on the site, or ask the girls behind it any questions you may have.

I'm the lead style/beauty writer & U.S. content coordinator here at Maximum Pop!, where I get to combine my love for Louis Tomlinson with his love for Adidas. I hail from Boston, and I'm obsessed with my wiener dog, nail art trends, One Direction, and perfume samples. I believe in daily pizza.
