Flashback Friday Film: ‘Camp Rock’!

Can you believe it’s almost been eight years since the release of ‘Camp Rock’? It feels like only yesterday we were singing along to “This Is Me” at the Final Jam. Time flies and we’re still in love with it.

The Disney Channel Original movie premiered in 2008 and starred Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers. We all fell in love with the character of Mitchie Torres and all her friends and enemies as she heads to Camp Rock with hopes to become a professional singer.

So where are they now? Let’s take a look.

Demi Lovato has taken the world by storm. Her fifth (yes, fifth!) studio album, ‘Confident’, was released on October 16th 2015 and debuted to number two on the Billboard 200. Her singles ‘Cool For The Summer’ and ‘Confident’ have been very successful around the globe. Demi is smashing her dreams and living them out to the fullest and we couldn’t be more proud.

The Jonas Brothers have produced four studio albums since their appearance on Camp Rock. However in October 2013 they disbanded to focus on solo projects.

Nick Jonas released his first self-titled solo album in November of 2014 and has appeared in FOX’S ‘Scream Queens’.

Joe Jonas is currently part of another band called DNCE which made their debut single in 2015.

Kevin Jonas went on a small 5-month tour which brother, Joe, around the United States.

Best known for her role as Tess in ‘Camp Rock’, Meaghan has lent her voice for Naminé in the video game series ‘Kingdom Hearts’ as well as voicing and motion capturing Jessica from the video game ‘Until Dawn’.
