‘Extraordinary Means’: booktuber Smitten Pie reviews Robyn Schneider’s latest YA novel

We love ‘Extraordinary Means’. It’s quirky, fun, heartbreaking and will leave you with that “what do I do now?” kind of feeling, as well as a list of killer lines you felt the compulsion to write down as you read it so you wouldn’t forget them.

Smitten Pie, awesome booktuber in a cute pink hat, has recently posted what she thinks of ‘Extraordinary Means’, and what she had been expecting.

Of course, the internet had done the rounds of comparing Schneider to John Green, and had branded this book a boring mix up of ‘Looking For Alaska’ and ‘The Fault In Our Stars’. However, just like us here at MP!, Smitten Pie was more than impressed with this book. She loved it.

Character growth – check!

Interesting idea – check!

Compelling plot which will completely shatter your heart and being – check check check.

Also, she suggests you definitely check out the author’s notes in this book – they’re worth it.
