BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge Month is back in September and the line up has us completely shook.
Get ready for epic live performances from all your faves including Dua Lipa, Clean Bandit, OneRepublic, The 1975, Zara Larsson and Justin Bieber, who opens up the season on September 1. In fact, there’s going to be 25 incredible performances across the entire month of September.
This year’s Live Lounge month is extra special as for the first time EVER, the Live Lounge is moving to Los Angeles. But it’s not just any old venue… Justin will open the Live Lounge Month with an exclusive performance… FROM HIS HOUSE. DJ & host Clara Amfo will also be heading to the US to host from Justin’s house.
The 1975 will also have a special Live Lounge performance like no other, but this time a little closer to home. They will be closing the month on evening of the 30th of September from Blackpool’s Tower Ballroom.
The Live Lounge month was announced in a really unique way, with every act participating posting a single letter of the phrase “Radio 1 Live Lounge Month”. Check out the posts from Zara Larsson and Dua Lipa below:
