It seems that Ed Sheeran is following in the footsteps of his One Direction friends by announcing that he’s taking a bit of a break from the music scene. But instead of focusing on “individual projects” (obvs, he’s already an individual), Ed will be taking a more charitable approach to his break by working in a charity shop. Isn’t he lovely?
That’s right, on the same day that it’s been announced that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is launching a charity chocolate bar, it has been hinted that Ed will be volunteering at the Sue Ryder charity shop in his hometown of Framingham, Suffolk.
The store’s manager said of the news: “There is a good possibility he will volunteer here. We’d welcome him. My volunteers, who are aged between 61 and 91, know Ed because he was brought up in the town. They would be fine working with him.”
It’s also been reported that Ed has bought Framingham’s old police station for £1million and plans covert it into a youth centre.
We love how charitable our idols are.
