Download or Ditch? Pitbull feat. G.R.L ‘Wild Wild Love’

Pitbull is an unstoppable hit machine these days: Mr. Worldwide has been dominating the charts on both sides of the Atlantic for months now with line-dancing anthem ‘Timber’, which successfully fused the somewhat dubious combination of country and dance with huge pop hooks. Of course, Ke$ha being on board didn’t hurt either.

Well clearly if it ain’t broke don’t fix it cos Pit’ is back with yet another country party anthem featuring a big female led chorus, this time with US girlband – and next generation Pussycat Dolls in-the-making – G.R.L. The girls are signed to mega pop producer Dr. Luke’s Kermosabe label and you may remember from a little ditty called ‘Vacation’ which appeared on the last year’s ‘The Smurfs 2’ soundtrack.

The song itself is called ‘Wild Wild Love’ and follows the classic formula of an instantly catchy and melodic chorus about love or partying paired with Pitbull’s usual lyrical themes including Miami, his Mr. Worldwide status and random smatterings of Spanglish. Dale indeed.

Much like ‘Timber’ though, we wouldn’t mind hearing a G.R.L-only version of the song but hopefully a high profile feature like this will secure G.R.L’s place in the big leagues soon enough so we can get a similarly amazing new pop banger from them.

Check out ‘Wild Wild Love’ below and see what you think. Is it a Download or a Ditch?
