One Direction ‘Little Things’ – Download or Ditch?

I know you never like the sound of your voice on tape, and you never want to know how much you weigh, you still have to squeeze into your jeans, but you’re perfect to me

A seventeen-year-old hormonal mini-Sheeran wrote ‘Little Things’ with a childhood friend, and many years later it’s the second single taken from the world’s biggest band’s upcoming album ‘Take Me Home’. One Direction’s ‘Little Things’ is  a simple and intimate acoustic-guitar tune about loving your partner’s insecurities – back dimples, eye crinkles and sleep talking; that puts the boys’ great voices and harmonies centre stage. Though it lacks the pumping drive and massive choruses of the boys’ brightest moments, it’s as sweet and warming as a salted caramel hot chocolate at Costa Coffee, and the closest thing to having Zayn Malik personally serenade you on Christmas Day. Winner. Our verdict: Download, play, have a little sob.
