‘Captain America: Civil War’ is flying oh so high at the UK box office… but are you surprised?

Here at MP! Towers we love a good superhero film, so obviously we’ve already been to see Captain America and Iron Man in their epic new battle. ‘Captain America: Civil War’ was released on Friday, and has racked up a MAHOOSIVE £14 million on its opening weekend. But is it really any surprise that Disney are top of the UK box office again

‘Captain America: Civil War’ has been extremely well received by both fans and press – Empire said it was “The Best Marvel Studios movie yet”. It has already beat the first ‘Captain America’ film after just three days.

Disney have also taken the entire UK box office by storm this bank holiday weekend – taking the top three spots. While ‘Captain America: Civil War’ is sitting at the top spot, ‘The Jungle Book’ is still making waves at number two and ‘Zootropolis’ has been making sitting steady at number three.

Which film will you be off to see this bank holiday weekend? Let us know over on Twitter @maximumpop.
