OMFG! Demi Lovato is secretly working on a new album and it’s going to sound like nothing we’ve heard from her before

According to MP! sources (who are very mysterious and cannot be revealed) the Queen of Confident Demetria Devonne Lovato is secretly squirreling away on a new project, which is currently for her ears only.

Demi’s current recording contract with Hollywood Records has just ended, but never fear because she will soon get snapped up by another label and this will give her more freedom to be creative. TBH it sure sounds like she’s going to be exploring a lot of new territory on this new album. HOW EXCITING IS THAT?!

Demi Lovato Excited 5

MP! thinks that Demi is going to go full-on R&B for her next album and here’s the evidence so far (you can also practise numeracy in Spanish at the same time for those of you knee deep in exams right now…)

1) Exhibit Uno

She recently announced that she had written a song with US R&B smoothie Miguel.

Let’s hope it’s one big fat sexy collab.

2) Exhibit Dos

She’s been in the studio with Tayla Parx who has previously worked with Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey and J.Lo.

3) Exhibit Tres

She’s also working with Ester Dean who has produced for some of the most successful women in pop, including bad gal RiRi, Beyonce, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj.

4) Exhibit Cuatro

She’s hooked up with producer Timbaland again. Hopefully he’ll lend her some slinky beats a la Justin Timberlake/Nelly Furtado circa 2006.

5) Exhibit Cinco

She’s working with Wynter Gordon who co-wrote bangers ‘Sorry’ and ‘Daddy Lessons’ for Beyoncé’s latest album ‘Lemonade’.

This is shaping up to be one of the most exciting Demi eras. We can’t wait to hear who else she’s working with. Tweet us @maximumpop if you think Demi will rise up again like a stone cold skyscraper.
