Unfortunately we do not live in Vancouver so we were not at the opening night of Demi Lovato’s Neon Lights Tour on Sunday. However, approximately 19,000 Lovatics were and, with the power of Twitter, YouTube and Instagram, we can kind of pretend we were because we know everything that happened.
The supports acts were AMAZING.
US X Factor alumni Fifth Harmony kick off the tour’s support slots with a bunch of tracks from their splendid debut EP ‘Better Together’, and even throw in a cover of Destiny’s Child’s ‘Independent Women’. They were followed by our very own Little Mix who showcased their singles ‘Move’, ‘DNA’, ‘Little Me’ and ‘Wings’ whilst also performing album title track ‘Salute’ and brand spanking new song ‘Word Up!’. Watch our LM girls perform their Sport Relief single below:
The merchandise is very nice.
Demi has released a brand new load of merchandise to sell at her tour dates just to make a bit of extra cash on the side, you know? The majority of the items are t-shirts but they all feature beautiful pictures of the very pretty Ms Lovato. Check out the photo below. Hint: If you search really hard you’ll find some Little Mix tops too.

The setlist is so amazing we could cry.
Demi’s setlist contains the perfect balance of album tracks from her latest album ‘Demi’, as well as a throwback to her old tunes too. View the setlist here.
SHE SINGS ‘THIS IS ME’ *SCREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMS*
We got very, very, VERY over excited at the fact that Demi performs her ‘Camp Rock’ breakthrough hit ‘This Is Me’ on tour as part of a mash-up with a track from her first album ‘Don’t Forget’. Once we’ve finished trying to get our breath back, we’ll share a video with you… There we go:
After hours of scrolling through #neonlightstour pictures on Instagram we’ve finally picked our favourite photo from opening night. Our friend delenatic has shared this pic. Look how happy Demi is:
Ok, she really needs to bring this tour to the UK doesn’t she?
