Scandinavia just get pop so right, don’t they? From the likes of Icona Pop and Eurovision champion Loreen to rising stars such as Andrea Hegard and Kill J. It seems that Scandinavian pop is ready to rule the charts once again and joining the long line of pop perfection females is Christina Skaar from Norway.

We've already decided Norwegians are much cooler than Brits.
We’ve already decided Norwegians are much cooler than Brits.

As a teenager, Christina started working with top DJs in Stockholm, Sweden and leant her vocals to a number of commercial house tracks, which were supported by globally renowned DJs.

Christina was then selected by production powerhouse Stargate – who have worked with the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna and Fifth Harmony – to join a masterclass in New York. After those sessions, she began recording solo music and ‘Critical’ is the first product of that.

‘Critical’ is a perfectly construct mid-tempo pop track and we’re sure it’ll see her hit the charts all over the world.
