Cheryl unveils new ballad ‘Only Human’ and it’s all a bit lovely.

We all know Cheryl Fernandez Versini can knock out a total banger when the mood takes her, but her knack for a ballad over the years has been mixed at best… Until now that is.

The X Factor judge has just whacked up one of those ‘instant grat’ tracks up on iTunes and it’s pretty bloody good in fact. ‘Only Human’ – the title song from her upcoming album – is a sweeping electronic slowie with lashings of vocoder and synths, bringing to mind indie singer songwriter Imogen Heap. The anthemic ‘WOOO WOOO WOOO’ parts in the background send a bit of a chill down the spine and Chezza’s voice sounds fab if we do say so ourselves. We’ll be adding this to our ‘Pensive Winter Playlist’ alongside the new Leighton Meester single.
