Cole has got to be pleased as punch right now. Comeback single ‘Call My Name’ has rocketed to the top of the midweek charts, beating off competition from the likes of Flo Rida and errr… no one else really.
The song looks set to uproot Gary Barlow’s Jubilee-themed effort from the top of the charts with a massive 97,000 sales already – potentially giving her the fastest-selling single of the year so far. All of this in time for new album A Million Lights which comes out Monday. Well done Cheryl, and if it does indeed hit No. 1, save a glass of bubbly for us, eh?
