Famous lip-locker Charlie Puth is set to write for Ariana Grande’s new album! Pucker up, Ariana!

Even if you’ve never heard of him before (how could you not?), everyone now knows Charlie Puth as 1/2 of the iconic AMA kiss that apparently had no strings attached. The lyrics ‘Let’s Marvin Gaye and get it on…’ are also probably pretty familiar, written by the man himself, Charlie Puth.

While talking to our pals over at Billboard about his epic performance with Meghan Trainor at the AMAs, Puth revealed that he will be in fact is writing for  “other artists who are working on their albums, like Ariana“. He promises, however, that “throwback records don’t represent me as an artist, but the soulfulness attached to them totally does”, so maybe that means ‘Marvin Gaye’ was just a one time thing.

Ariana and Meghan are also teaming up for ‘Boys Like You’, a highly anticipated track the two are collabing on with Who is Fancy. For now, this is all we have for the three of them, but who knows what the future brings.
