We iMessaged this hawt YA bad boy and he will totally remind you of Jughead Jones

We’re swooning

Jughead Jones; the man, the myth, the legend. Sure, ‘Riverdale’ may be over for another season but that hasn’t hindered our crush on Jughead. Actually, it’s reached whole new heights this summer.

When we last saw Juggy, he was donning a swoon-worthy leather jacket and a deliciously moody expression. He looked like a boy that your Mum would warn you about and tbh we’re loving every second of the new bad boy vibe he’s giving off.

Of course, Jughead isn’t the only bad boy we’ve been crushing over, recently. We’ve also developed an unhealthy obsession with Brand. He’s one of the main protagonists in Julie Israel’s brand new YA book, ‘Juniper Lemon’s Happiness Index’, and will have your heart racing in seconds.

Brand is your typical bad boy. He’s in a band, owns a leather jacket and his favourite past time is detention – obviously. Things begin to chance when Brand meets Juniper, though.

Juniper is overwhelmed with grief following the sudden death of her big sister Camilla. Desperate to learn the identity of her sister’s secret lover, Juniper takes up the role of investigator with Brand as her sidekick. It’s a story of love, loss and friendship, and will have you sobbing in no time, at all. Just don’t tell Brand we said that. We’re trying to play it cool here, okay?!

In fact, we actually had a natter to Brand about Juniper Lemon. iMessaging a fictional YA bad boy is certainly one of the more off-the-wall things we’ve done here at Maximum Pop! but you know what we’re like, we live for the lols.

The girl in the picture doesn’t look any different.

Natural eyeliner.
Things you don’t: stitches. A neck brace.
The sleep rings hidden beneath her makeup.

I lower my new student ID card. My throat is tight with all the changes I carry, but don’t find there. Still, I’m grateful not to wear them like a flag on my forehead: Ask me about my tragedy!
