YAAAAAS!

Camila Cabello is our angel for using her own experience to teach people about mental health issues

Camila Cabello has been blessed with some unique and rare gifts. Her talent, charisma and status as one fifth of one of the biggest girlbands on the planet rn mean that she has the power to influence millions of people with her every single move.

Luckily for the universe she always remembers this old saying from ‘Spiderman’…

She’s not like us who would use their power for evil. EVIL, WE TELL YOU!

But Mila hasn’t had an easy ride by any means. Our beautiful angel has suffered from mental health issues in the past. Back in September she left a concert midway through due to her crippling anxiety. But, instead of letting that defeat her, she has come back stronger and decided to become an advocate for seeking help for mental health issues.

Yesterday Mila tweeted this beautiful post about how she is raising funds for ‘Children’s Health Fund’. It’s hard not to get emotional when reading it because we know all the struggles Camila has gone through herself.

Mila also added this heartfelt message on the charity’s website:

“I hope that you are feeling happy and healthy this holiday season. We all need to take care of ourselves and one another. And if you are feeling depressed or alone, reach out. Your health is the most important gift you can give your loved ones.”

Mila is such a good role model and we’re so glad we have her in our lives. Let us know what you think about her efforts to battle mental health issues using the comments box below.

Having studied Russian and Spanish at the University of Leeds, David moved to Moscow to work in the education sector. Upon returning to UK soil, David initially immersed himself in the wonderful world of MP! as a music writer.

Now head of all things content, David takes being a music fanboy to a whole new level, and can often be found dancing like there's nobody watching to 'Shout Out To My Ex', obsessing over Lauren Jauregui and defending Taylor Swift's honour.

David once appeared on TV in Armenia. Apparently, "it was awesome".
