Gather one and all as we have found a seriously fit new popstar in the shape of Callum Wright and he might just be our favourite ever Barbadian export (soz Rihanna).
It’s nothing personal, Ri.
Anyway, back to Callum. His debut single ‘1.2.3.’ showcases his unique style of Island Pop – a fusion of the love Barbados holds for reggae and the mainstream pop music that he grew up listening to.
The track’s inspiration came from two married couples that 20-year-old Callum saw having dinner – one still very much in love and the other… not so much. This song is from the point of view of the loved up chaps trying to figure out why the others made it look so hard to be together.
The song is catchy af and we know it’ll be a massive hit this summer. It does help that he’s proper buff though, doesn’t it?
