Justin Bieber, One Direction and Fifth Harmony are among the biggest songs of 2016

It’s that time of the year where The Official Charts Company unveils its 40 biggest selling singles of the first quarter of 2016 and you’re probably wondering just where your faves lie in that list, right?

Alright, keep your knickers on!

These songs made the list determined by¬†combined digital, physical and streaming equivalent sales and it’s no surprise that Lukas Graham’s massive hit ‘7 Years’ is at number one!

Confirmed by The Official Charts Company, “its chart sales stand at 857,000, including 39 million streams and 466,000 digital/physical sales. ‘7 Years’ also currently holds the biggest one-week combined sales figure for a number 1 single this year, shifting 134,000 in seven days during its second week at the top.” Pretty amazing, right?

Justin Bieber just misses the winning crown as ‘Love Yourself’ sits nicely at number two, which is followed by fellow Canadian Shawn Mendes at number three with ‘Stitches’. Very big achievement, lads!

It’s ya boy Zayn who sits at number 7 with his debut solo single ‘Pillowtalk’ and the always amazing Little Mix with Jason Derulo just miss the top ten with ‘Secret Love Song’ at number 11.

One Direction successfully make the top 20 with ‘History’ hanging in at number 14, while Fifth Harmony just miss it with ‘Work From Home’ in at number 24. Not bad considering it was only released just over a month ago!
