We cannot believe how fast this year has gone, can you? And it’s been full of marvellous music which we’ve loved listening to. Let’s have a look at the official biggest selling singles of 2014 so far.
For the third quarter of the year, Magic’s ‘Rude’ has proven to be the top seller according to the Official Charts Company, but they aren’t the biggest single of the year as ‘Happy’ by the one and only ‘Pharrell Williams’ has been the biggest seller for the third quarter in a row and let’s be fair, it’s one hell of a tune. With sold 1.65 million copies In Britain it continues to lead to the biggest track of 2014.
Behind Magic, the second biggest seller of quarter 3 is Ella Henderson and her track ‘Ghost’, which was number one in the charts for two weeks running after its release in June. We can’t lie, it’s one of the songs we practically broke the replay button with.
Other big selling songs of the year so far have been of course John Legend’s ‘All of Me’, Clean Bandit’s ‘Rather Be FT Jess Glynne’, Mr Probz’s ‘Waves’ and Pitbull FT Kesha’s ‘Timber’.
