BBC Music Awards 2014: the biggest recap!

Last night (December 11) the lovely Fearne Cotton and Chris Evans hosted at London’s Earl’s Court the first  ever BBC Music Awards! So this is our first time ever recapping  this event! How exciting.

Ed Sheeran and Pharrell Williams won big. They took home the major honors of the event, with Ed winning the ‘British Artist of the Year’.

Pharrell Willians, presented by Gwen Stefani with a video from the set of The Voice US in Los Angeles, won ‘International Artist of the Year’, bashing Taylor Swift, and with his ‘Happy’ hit song the ‘Song of the Year Award’.

While the BBC Introducing Award was given away to Catfish and the Bottlemen, who also performed during the night.

The events started with an amazing performance by Coldplay, blasting their hit song ‘A Sky Full Of Starts’ and showing a very fit Chris Martin.

We loved the special performance of Ella Henderson and Labrinth.

We shaked our hips so well with Clean Bandit and Calvin Harris (with John Newman and the gracious Ellie Goulding).

Other performances we really enjoyed to see during the night were Paloma Faith, George Ezra and of course Ed Sheeran and One Direction.

Greg James delighted everyone with his best impression of three of the biggest music video of the last months: ‘Shake It Off’, ‘All About That Bass’ and ‘Anaconda’. We think he deserves and award too.

If you weren’t there of you didn’t watch it on the telly seems like you missed a good and funny event. Don’t worry, BBC Music Awards will be back in 2015!
