So not only did Azealia Banks surprise the world by dropping her long awaited album last week, she’s now uploaded an amazing music video too.
‘Chasing Time’ is the latest single from Broke With Expensive Tastes, which boasts bangers like ‘212’, ‘Yung Rapunxel’ and ‘Heavy Metal and Reflective’.
The monochromatic video lives up to the album title, as in, it looks expensive with loads of amazing editorial looks.
One could probably draw visual effects parallels between this and Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson’s 1995 video for ‘Scream’, which cost $7 million to make. Ker-ching!
‘Chasing Time’ was directed by Marc Klasfield who has done videos for Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Jay Z and many more.

In its first week of release Broke With Expensive Taste made the top 10 in 15 different iTunes markets around the world. It peaked at #6 in the UK iTunes album charts and #1 in the UK iTunes Alternative charts, and reached #1 on the US iTunes Hip Hop Chart and #3 in the US Album Charts (right behind Taylor Swift and One Direction).
