Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.

The UK woke up to the news of Donald Trump having won the US Presidential election during the night and the mood is low. People are scared, sad, angry and worried.

So the book world did what it does best – sent messages of love, hope, support and comraderies into the ether. What would we do without them, eh?

We can always rely on authors to deliver the advice we need:

When Queen JK speaks, we all need to listen:

Don’t miss any of the magical launch parties for ‘Fantastic Beasts’!

Take care of each other:

Don’t make us cry, Robin!

But lots of our favourite authors are struggling to find the light in the dark:

Don’t forget to keep up with Louise on Snapchat!

But there’s still hope that we can turn this around, at least a little.

Send your happy thoughts into the comments below! And only happy comments, please – we all need cheering up today.
