‘Yours Truly’ to ‘Dangerous Woman’: How Ariana Grande has grown from pop princess into bad-ass boss

Remember 2013? It was a year full of Wrecking Balls, Harlem Shakes… and Ariana Grande.

With her perfectly curled half-pony and pink floral co-ords, she sang her way to all of our hearts with her UH-mazing angel voice and cute AF persona. Our butter-wouldn’t-melt sweetheart took the world by storm after swooping into the number one spot with her debut album ‘Yours Truly.’

But something happened. Because three years later, Ari decided to swap the pink pumps for knee high boots, drop the sparkly bows in favour of racy leather leotards, and rock the rabbit ear/face mask trend better then anyone before her…

And we totally dig it.

Our fave Dangerous Woman took to Twitter last week to thank her fans for their continued support, and celebrate the anniversary of her record-breaking debut.

Never ones to miss a trick, you devoted Arianator dolls from across the world even got #3YearsOfYoursTruly trending on Twitter, acknowledging the megababe’s milestone. Nawww.

We’re so proud of how far Ari has come musically in the last three years, and how her voice, image and personality have matured and grown with each album.

You guys seemed to agree, as the tweets that rolled in were full of appreciation and love for Ms Grande:

We can’t wait to see what this queen has in store for us throughout the rest of year. And don’t even mention 2017 – we don’t think our hearts can handle the upcoming sass yet.

Keep slaying, Ariana.

Tweet us @maximumpop if you think Ari is killin’ it (which she is, obvs.)
