The Newtube Interview: We talk with Ariamark about being fabulous, Tyler Oakley’s sass and YouTube channel goals!

YouTube is such a huge community that has been building rapidly for ten years. We always hear about Pewdiepie, Dave Days and the like, but what about other cool content creators who we should know about?

We’re interviewing less mainstream YouTubers that we think you definitely need to know about and love just as much as we do! We’ve spoken to Aria AKA Ariamark who has 4k subscribers and had a chat about his experience with YouTube.

What sort of content do you post?

On a Sunday I post a vlog where talk about something random, interview drunk people in the streets or maybe even a cooking video, really just ANYTHING, My channel is about having a laugh!

Then on Wednesday I post a more serious video where I talk about what has been on my mind that week , whether that be anxiety, sexuality or whatever I’m think on the day to be honest.

What inspired you to create a YouTube channel?

I used to watch people like Charlie McDonnell, Amazing Phil and  loved that there was a whole community of people who make videos videos so I just thought “hey, why not?”

What YouTubers do you admire?

WHERE TO BEGIN, EY?  Some one my favourites include Ben Brown, Louis Cole, Joe Weller, Tyler Oakley, Casey Neistat, Rusty Clanton, Niki and Sammy, Chip Daddy…THE LIST GOES ON FOREVER!

How would you describe yourself in 5 words?

1.No Filter

If you could collab with anyone in YouTube, who would it be and why?

It has to be the queen of YouTube…Tyler Oakley, his sass just makes me want to explode!

What is something we absolutely need to know about you?

I love sleep. I love food. I love coffee. And I NEVER take myself seriously (life is to short to be serious all the time). What you see is what you get, really.

What can we expect from you in the near future?

I am hopefully going to be traveling this year so hopefully lots of  videos in other countries!

What are your goals for your channel?

I know I am never going to be “famous”;  I make videos because I love making videos. If can make just one person smile with my videos then thats the most I could ever ask for.

What tips do you have for people considering to start their own YouTube channel?

JUST DO IT, be you, have fun, don’t worry about what others might think!  AND REMEMBER. Be yourself. Never let anyone put you down! If they do, don’t use violence… use SASS.

Sweet or savory?

Concert or festival?

Group date or just you and your date?
Just me and my date (get to know them better)

Dine out or takeaway?

Pop rock or pop punk?
