YAAAAAS!

Are you an alien to SF? How many of these space staples have you read?

We bet not even half!

Science fiction is a total escape and we love it. We’ve all dreamed of going into space and exploring new worlds, right? SF books literally let you do that from the comfort and safety of your bed – now that suits us bookworms to a T.

But there’s a lot of sci-fi out there. Stories about inter-planetary wars, generation ships travelling across galaxies to find a new home, humans who’ve made their lives in space and those running from Earth – it’s all out there.

Veronica Roth’s ‘Carve the Mark’ is set on a planet that relies on current, and the current bestows gifts on the people that live their. These currentgifts are extensions of the people they belong to and they usually help a person along, but Cyra’s gift is more of a curse, used by her brother as a weapon. Akos’s gift gives him protection, but not enough to stop his being held captive by enemy soldiers. Their worlds are about to collide.

QUIZ: How magic is your love life based on your witchy opinions?

QUIZ: Which bookish event should you go to based on your Harry Potter opinions?

But how many sci-fi adventures have you been on? Would you survive the world of ‘Carve the Mark’? We bet you’ve not read all of these!

How did you do? Let us know in the comments below.
