Alessia Cara slays Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ – look who else has covered Tay’s songs.

Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara made an appearance on BBC Radio 1’s Piano Sessions and guess what she sang?  Well, she chose Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ and absolutely SLAYED it.  Alessia even gave Kendrick’s rap a go, too!

The singer was giving subtle hints on her Twitter before the performance and her fans (and us) were literally dying from expectation.

What can we say, Alessia has a great taste and amazing voice. Keep killing it, girl!

But this story isn’t over just yet, Queen Taylor Swift herself noticed the beautiful performance and praised Alessia on Twitter!

Naturally, the Canadian singer couldn’t quite contain her excitement…

Maybe Tay will invite Alessia to her squad? They can write songs, play with Meredith and bake cookies together. Isn’t that the dream?

By the way, a lot of other singers have also covered Taylor’s songs. Imagine Dragons performed ‘Blank Space’ in the BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and it was simply amazing.

Charli XCX did an incredible cover of “Shake It Off” which you can watch here:

And American singer Vance Joy even covered Taylor’s 1989 album track ‘I Know Places’ and Swift tweeted him after, saying that this cover is her favorite.
