5SOS’ BFFs Against the Current invite you to tour their wasteland… Enter if you dare

Any friend of 5SOS is a friend of ours! And lead singer of American punk-pop band Against the Current, Chrissy Costanza, is practically Michael Clifford’s BFF!

The guys released their debut album ‘In Our Bones’ on 20th May and we’re literally been listening to nothing else since then. Officially. Obsessed.

Everything they do is literally perfection. We adored their previous single ‘Runaway’ and we have destroyed the ‘Running with the Wild Things’ video from overplaying.

Which is why it’s a GREAT thing that they have just released another video for their latest single ‘Wasteland’.

Be prepared to go all out emo. Throw on your black clothes and slap on the make up.

As if that weren’t enough, Against the Current will be touring the UK later this year:

  • September 21 Bristol The Fleece
  • September 22 Glasgow Garage
  • September 23 Newcastle Riverside
  • September 24 Leeds Stylus
  • September 26 Belfast Mandela Hall
  • September 27 Dublin Academy
  • September 28 Nottingham Rescue Rooms
  • September 30 London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
  • October 1 Birmingham The Asylum
  • October 2 Manchester Academy 2

Ain’t that exciting? Tweet us if you love ‘Wasteland’ and if you’re planning to see Against the Current on their tour @maximumpop.

David is the Head of Content at Maximum Pop!

Having studied Russian and Spanish at the University of Leeds, David moved to Moscow to work in the education sector. Upon returning to UK soil, David initially immersed himself in the wonderful world of MP! as a music writer.

Now head of all things content, David takes being a music fanboy to a whole new level, and can often be found dancing like there's nobody watching to 'Shout Out To My Ex', obsessing over Lauren Jauregui and defending Taylor Swift's honour.

David once appeared on TV in Armenia. Apparently, "it was awesome".
