9 massive European dance smashes everyone is going crazy for

We may be leaving the European Union, but it doesn’t mean that we can’t indulge in a tasty bit of Europop as and when we choose. And, just so it happens, we’ve cooked up some delicious summer dance anthems for you right here at MP! which we just know you’re gonna love. But hurry, better get them quick before taxes rise and we need a visa… (too soon?).

Imany – ‘Don’t Be So Shy (Filatov and Karas Remix)

Russian producers Filatov and Karas got hold of French singer Imany’s pensive ballad ‘Don’t Be So Shy’ and turned it into one of the biggest European dance hits of 2015.  No literally, it’s managed to rack up over 100 million YouTube views and 16 million Spotify streams already! Expect this chilled out summer delight to  make it’s way slowly across the English Channel and the Atlantic this summer.

MP! recommends to listen to the slow version first and then get blown away about how different the remix is!

Sofia Tukker – ‘Drinkee’

Musical duo Sofi Tukker (a combo of band members Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpernare actually from New York, but this behemoth of a summer hit is sung entirely in Portuguese. This hypnotic track has blown up in Europe this year and it looks like these guys are just getting started.

Mike Perry – ‘The Ocean’

This one will be the soundtrack to every festival-goer’s sexy adventures this summer. It’s currently scaling the charts all over Europe and will definitely be one the defining songs of this festival season.

NEIKED – ‘Sexual’

This sexy little number is fresh off the press, having come out earlier this month. With a fresh and clean sound we think this one will be a pop crossover smash.

Frenship feat. Emily Warren – ‘Capsize’

Frenship aren’t about to capsize any time soon, but they’re guaranteed to blow up for sure, and not in a ka-boom, fire, piratey way.

Perttu feat. Alexandra – ‘Waves’

This is another red hot hit that just came out under a month ago. It’s pulsating beats will drill their way into your head, a fair warning.

Matt Simmons – ‘Catch and Release (Deepend remix)’

This one was a massive smash last year all over Europe and it’s also incidentally one of the most chilled out and down to earth songs you’ll ever hear. It feels like that breath of fresh air we all sorely needed.

Zhu – ‘Generationwhy’

Zhu is no stranger to chart success, having previously scored a massive dance smash in 2014 with ‘Faded’, which was also nominated for a Grammy. We reckon ‘Generationwhy’ could be his biggest hit to date though. What do you think?

Spada feat. Anna Leyne – Catchfire (Sun Sun Sun) (EDX’s Miami Sunset Remix)

Go into any club in Europe right now and this will come on. A perfect summer dance anthem and floorfiller.

Which one of our massive dance anthems tickled your fancy? Have you heard any other ones you think we’d love? If so, tweet us @maximumpop.
