5 TV shows you NEED to watch in 2016, you’re welcome.

Have you finished binge watching a bunch of shows on Netflix? Are you wondering what you’re going to do with your life now? Not to worry because we’ve got you covered with 5 TV shows you should definitely tune into when they premiere in January 2016.

After five and a half years, 130 episodes, 123+ text messages and 9 deaths, “A” was FINALLY revealed to us in the season 6 midseason finale. So what else could this show possibly throw at us next? That’s right, a five year time jump into the future. The liars are all grown up and things have changed. There’s a new enemy, a new love and a new story. But for the better or for the worse? You’ll just have to tune in and get addicted all over again. A whole new mystery begins on January 12th on Freeform (previously named ABC Family).

This show kills me every time. If you aren’t watching this show purely for Dylan O’Brien then you’re doing it wrong. But in all honesty, the storyline is actually really addictive. Season 5B promises to amp up  the action to the next level with Papa Argent returning to the show along with Gerard Argent, Deucalion, the Desert Wolf and hopefully Derek Hale. The Dread Doctors are some of the creepiest villains to appear on the show and it leaves viewers wondering how our Scooby gang will put an end to their destruction.  Don’t forget to tune into MTV on January 5th for the epic conclusion to season 5.

3. THE 100
Ok, so this is one of my most anticipated shows to return in 2016. The moment I started watching I was hooked immediately. Betrayal, love, adventure, drama, sci-fi, death, mystery – what doesn’t this show have? After the gang’s battle with the mountain men, Lexa’s betrayal, Jaha’s discovery of the artificial intelligence and Clarke leaving camp Jaha, there are endless possibilities to where the writers can take this show. Oh, and did we mention a guest appearance from Shawn Mendes? You do NOT want to miss the season 3 premiere January 21st on The CW.

4. DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW 12347932_1638007713140647_3976474247528240249_nIf you love Arrow and The Flash or you’re just a huge DC fan, then do not miss this. What could be more awesome then time-travelling back to the present to assemble a team of heroes and villains so they can prevent the end of time? Firestorm, The Atom, White Canary, Captain Cold, Heatwave, Hawkman, Hawkgirl and Rip Hunter are all suited up and ready to kick some Vandal Savage butt *cue internal screams*. It all starts January 21st on The CW.

Calling all Mortal Instrument fans! If you loved the books then prepare to have your mind blown as Clary Fray’s story comes to life on the small screen. With demon hunters, forbidden love, vampires, werewolf, downworlders and a lot more, enter the dark side of New York City and prepare yourself for the road ahead. If you didn’t enjoy the books, tune in anyways and get yourself hooked for the holidays. The story of power and love starts January 12th on Freeform (previously named ABC Family).

One of our favourite books is about to become a film, can you guess which one?

Chris Hemsworth’s package isn’t the only good thing about ‘Vacation’.
