We’ve got some beaut HQ pics from 1D’s ‘Drag Me Down’ – new background, anyone?

The lads of 1D premiered the music video for their latest single, ‘Drag Me Down’ today and we are totally and utterly in love.

The band headed off to NASA’s Johnson Space Center, Houston to shoot the literally out-of-this-world music video which was directed by long term collaborators Ben and Gabe Turner from Fulwell 73.

The filming took place around the NASA T-38 aircraft jets that are used by astronauts to train for spaceflight, and the NASA WB-57 High Altitude Research Aircraft, a specialised aircraft that is used for high atmosphere research work. So, yes, the boys actually used actual astronaut equipment. Does this mean they are officially trained to go up into space whenever they fancy?Check out these gorgeous HQ pics from filming. We don’t know whether we’re jealous or just want a spaceman boyfriend, tbh.
