Pretty much the entire world is aware of what the One Direction fandom is capable of. We all saw Project No Control and all took part in 1D Fans Give and now there’s a new project on the horizon.

To celebrate six years of One Direction, fans are organising fundraisers on behalf of the boys for two amazing charities, Save the Children and Believe in Magic. We all know how the boys have changed thousands of fans’ lives, but some lives really do get all their happiness from 1D during some extremely tough times. Talking about the idea, Anne from @1DInsideReport says:

“Everyone inside of the fandom has a story of how they met friends, how they found out about the boys, about how our lives changed because of the boys, but some of those stories also contain pain and struggle, people touched by illnesses, bullying, people fighting against it everyday, people that sometimes pass through our lives too quickly.

To help those people, we’re creating a project that will be designed to help the ones who need it. A platform where you can share your experience, your story, where you can leave kind messages to the ones who are going through struggle, where you can help a smile form on their faces. Where we will become a rock for the ones who feel like they’re falling. Directioners are capable of a lot of things – winning awards, breaking records and that’s why we can count on you to help us with this.

There will be two fundraisers for the charities to run alongside the platform and will help raise money for the two charities to help children who are in great need.

If you want to help, retweet the tweet below and head over to the project website for more information.
